Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms govern your use of FreeTherapy.gr and applications to the free psychotherapy program. By using the website, you accept these terms.

1. Provider details

  • Registered office: TODO
  • VAT no.: TODO
  • General Commercial Registry (GEMI) no.: TODO
  • Email: free@roots.gr

2. Purpose of the website

The website provides information about Roots Wellness Center's free psychotherapy and mental health support program and lets you apply to take part. Sessions are provided by postgraduate-level trainee therapists completing their clinical placement, under regular clinical supervision.

3. Not an emergency service

FreeTherapy.gr is not an immediate or emergency support service, and applications are not monitored in real time. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112 or the EKAB ambulance service on 166. For support with suicidal thoughts call the Suicide Intervention Helpline on 1018, and for 24/7 psychological support call 10306.

4. Not medical advice

The website's content is for information only and is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment.

5. Who can apply

  • People aged 16 and over. For participants aged 16–17, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required before sessions begin.
  • People who can commit to one session a week, on a fixed day and time, for at least six months.
  • Applications must concern, and be submitted by, the person applying.

6. Applying and admission

Submitting an application does not guarantee a place in the program. Admission depends on our team's assessment and on the availability of places, and there may be a waiting list. If the program is not suitable for your needs, we will explain why and, where possible, refer you to another mental health professional.

7. Attendance and absences

Up to three (3) absences are permitted per six-month period. Exceeding this limit, or consistently irregular attendance, results in discontinuation from the program, without the possibility of re-entry.

8. Free of charge

Taking part in the program and using the website are free. No payment is requested at any stage.

9. Accuracy of information

Please provide accurate and honest information so that we can support you effectively and safely.

10. Acceptable use

You may not submit false applications, apply on another person's behalf without their agreement, submit applications by automated means, or attempt to disrupt the operation or security of the website.

12. Limitation of liability

We make every effort to keep the website's information accurate and the website running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by technical problems or downtime. If a submission fails, you will see a message and can try again or contact us.

13. Personal data

How we process your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
